Arman Ahmad is an emerging and powerful voice in the Indian music industry, admired for his seamless fusion of Indian classical music, Sufi qawwali, and contemporary styles. Known for his deep, expressive vocals and emotionally rich performances, Arman continues to leave a lasting impression on audiences across India.
A proud exponent of the prestigious Delhi Gharana, Arman has undergone over 13 years of rigorous classical training. He has received taleem from the legendary Ustad Iqbal Ahmad Khan Saab, one of the most respected torchbearers of the Delhi Gharana, and Ustad Danish Hilal Khan, whose mentorship further shaped his musical depth and versatility. His rich musical lineage extends to his maternal grand-uncle, Padma Shri Ustad Shafat Ahmad Khan, the world-renowned tabla maestro—making tradition the very foundation of his artistry.
Arman first rose to national attention as a Top 10 finalist on DD National’s reality show “Wah Ustad”. Since then, he has performed on some of India’s most prestigious stages, including the Bright Awards, widely regarded as India’s biggest award show. A major milestone in his live performance journey came when he performed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun, for the Transmitto Development Foundation, captivating an audience of nearly 10,000 people.
His musical repertoire includes the widely appreciated patriotic song “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan (From ‘Loksabha’)”, praised for its emotional depth and national spirit. He further showcased his creative versatility with a soulful reinterpretation of “Sochta Hu”, blending experimentation with classical sensitivity. Expanding his journey as a professional singer, Arman made his playback singing debut with the title track of the upcoming film Aatma.com, marking an important step in his evolving career.
